Unit 3a Concept Court, Manvers, Rotherham, S63 5BD

Who we are

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We are determined to end homelessness. We do it person by person and by influencing policies to ensure everyone has a place to call home. Homelessness is devastating, leaving people vulnerable and isolated. Our Skylight in South Yorkshire is an outreach service, covering the whole of South Yorkshire. We offer education, training and support within hostels, day centres and local community venues. The classes we offer range from arts how to manage a tenancy, IT drop-ins to technical skills classes. We also offer one to one support on a range of things including registering with local health services, setting up a bank account, finding a job and finding a home.

How you can help

Our volunteering opportunities vary - we use volunteers to support the tutor with delivery of our classes, to provide support to our admin team and to help with mentoring our members. Experience is dependent on the volunteer role. You need to be passionate about ending homelessness and non-judgemental. All our opportunities are advertised on our website.
